Saptomo Handoro Mertotaroeno, Ir., M.Sc
Saptomo Handoro Mertotaroeno, Ir., M.Sc received the B.Eng degree in geodetic engineering from Institute of Technology, Bandung, in 1978, the Post Graduate Diploma and the M.Sc degree in photogrammetry from ITC-Enschede/The Netherlands in 1980 and 1982, respectively. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at The Institute of Technology, Bandung, Indonesia. His main area of research interests are photogrammetric mapping and its accuracy. He has more than 30 years of experience on numerous projects such as photogrammetric mapping, cartographic mapping, digital mapping, control survey and terrestrial topographic mapping. He also has been actively engaging in seminars/symposiums/workshops organized by ISI since 1977 and submitted a significant number of scientific and technical papers in the gatherings or publications. Mertotaroeno is a fellow of American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), Photogrammetry Society, and Indonesian Surveyors Association (ISI) for +/- 35 years.
